Everybody hates potholes.
Unfortunately, they’re a fact of life, especially on Atlanta’s busy roads, where thousands of cars and trucks wreak havoc on the asphalt. But thanks to #FixitATL & ATL311, the City is breaking records – filling them as fast as you report them.
With a mandate from Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, the Department of Public Works has shattered the previous pace of pothole repairs – filling in more than 18,000 since the Mayor took office in 2018.
That’s compared to a mere 2500 repairs in 2017. Today, thanks to your help, crews are fixing that many in a single month.
