Hundreds of Atlanta firefighters marched in a solemn procession to City Hall Thursday to remember their comrades who died in the line of duty. They were led by AFRD Chief Randall Slaughter, who says the department is one of the best in the country, with elite accreditations that few cities can match.
The 73rd annual memorial ceremony was held in the atrium, where Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms thanked the firefighters for their tireless service to help keep Atlanta communities and residents safe.
