“Move to the street, if you’re not using your feet.”

That’s the message from the Atlanta Police Department in their new public awareness campaign about the use of electric scooters in the city. As these and other Shareable Dockless Mobility Devices continue to grow in popularity, there are concerns that users are not aware of the many regulations governing them.

For example, it is illegal to ride them on sidewalks or leave them parked in an unsafe manner.

For APD, there is nothing more important than your safety. That’s why making sure you know the rules of the road, if you ride a scooter, is vitally important.
