Art is a coveted resource in Atlanta. It informs and inspires. That’s why it’s an important part of Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms’ One Atlanta vision for the city. The Mayor uses her office both literally and figuratively to promote the work of established and emerging artists, prominently displaying pieces that have the power to stop visitors in their tracks.
Alfred Addo is one of those artists. His sculptures are both beautiful and innovative, and I recently spoke to him about his work.
