Despite a heavy downpour, hundreds of prominent ministers came to Atlanta City Hall for a rally and march of solidarity. The faith-leaders want to make it clear that they walk in lock-step with the thousands of peaceful protesters who have demonstrated across the city in recent days – and that they are here to help if needed to offer guidance and direction.

The ministers represented all the main religious denominations, and many have decades of experience as protesters themselves, some even back to the days of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

We spoke with Rev. Frank Cornelius Brown of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church for his insights.
