Free testing for the COVID-19 virus continues in Atlanta.

This week, the latest walk-up site opened at the Fulton County Center for Health and Rehabilitation in the city’s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. Residents conducted part of the testing themselves by swabbing the inside of their nostrils for samples that will be examined by health officials for any sign of the virus. Results should be available within 72-hours.

Residents we spoke with agree strongly with Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms that the pandemic is still extremely dangerous and that people need to know if they are or have been infected.

For more information The site off Boulevard and Highland will be open through Saturday. If you need additional information go to ATLSTRONG.org or the Fulton County Health Department.
