Affordable housing is a complex issue affecting every major city in America. Finding solutions will require creative approaches and a re-imagining of economic and real estate development. That’s happening right now in Atlanta, where builders are coming to the table with more than just construction plans.

The Awethu House in the Old Fourth Ward is one example of that.

Good Places redeveloped the building as an affordable space for residents and social impact groups who do good in the community. One of those organizations is REMERGE. And part of their mission is to make sure neighbors are not left out of the progress coming to some of city’s most historic communities.
