The threat of contracting or spreading COVID-19 made it risky for the band Brain Sleeve to rehearse in a closed in space. So, on this day, the group decided to take their innovative music outside, practicing in the fresh air beneath a Westside Atlanta overpass – while at the same time, giving an impromptu concert for folks out and about on the nearby Beltline.
The musicians say they are keenly aware of the dangers of the coronavirus. Because of that, they either try to wear masks or distance themselves while they play. They encourage others to make sure they get tested to protect the ones they love, as well as the public in general.
