While residents in some cities are effectively sheltering in place during the COVID-19 outbreak, folks in Atlanta can still get outside. Mayor Bottoms has ordered restaurants and bars to close for in-house dining – though they are still allowed to remain open for take-out orders. Other popular gathering spots have also been ordered to close, like recreational centers, bowling alleys and gyms.
Fortunately, neighbors can still enjoy the many green-spaces Atlanta has to offer.
And if you’re healthy, it’s a good way to keep exercising and keep the body’s immune system strong during the pandemic. Just remember to act responsibly, practice good social distancing and to keep your personal circle of friends below ten.
