Folks often say if you don’t like the weather in Georgia, give it a minute. That’s especially true during the hot summer months when violent storms can pop up at any time, if the conditions are right. That happened recently in Buckhead when the rain went from vertical to horizontal in a matter of seconds, knocking down trees and temporarily cutting power to thousands of residents.
